What Entrepreneurs Really Want For Christmas

While the rest of the world is hoping for presents that include electronics, toys, video games and even clothes, entrepreneurs only want one thing - Success. As a serial entrepreneur, my life revolves around the success of my ventures and my identity is based on my entrepreneurial vision. It's a sad fact that us entrepreneurs are consumed by our own ideas and dreams, and anything beyond that id simply icing on the cake.
Being a real entrepreneur means living your dream as if it was some sort of drug addiction, and aa addictions tend to go, the result can be disasterous, but as entrepreneurail addictions go - the result can also be stupendous. As entrepreneurs, we're gamblers and gambling can go either way - good or bad, but usually it goes bad.
So why do we do it? Why do we risk our lives on a long shot bet for success? If you're a true entrepreneur, it's simply in your blood. If you're not a true entrepreneur, you wouldn't understand anything about this blog entry.
The truth is -- us entrepreneurs are sick because we're addicted to creating success from nothing, but for me - success from nothing is everything. So on this Christmas Eve 2009, I'd like to wish all the other addicted entrepreneurs out there a very Merry Christmas and I hope you all get the gift of personal success.
