About The Founder of Corporate Constipation.com...

I was a single father making $25,000 a year when I created Sinus Buster, the world’s first hot pepper nasal spray designed to relieve headaches, sinus problems and allergy symptoms. It may sound nuts, but when I accidentally discovered that hot peppers could stop headaches almost instantly, I knew I had my biggest idea.

Media Promotes Bad Behavior While Productive Americans Are Forgotten

It appears the media has plenty of time to spend on jack asses like Kanye West, and even stories about President Obama calling Kanye a "jack ass", as if we didn't already know. Then there was Serena Williams and her strange outburst at the US Open. I felt sorry for her until she popped up on CNN this morning, selling her new autobiography. Even an idiot like myself can figure out Serena's recent outburst and the timing of her new book are more than a little coincidental.

Even my biggest hero, Howard Stern recently disappointed me when he interviewed Rod Blagojevich this week on my favorite radio show. I really respect Howard’s interviewing skills, but he lobbed nothing but softballs to the disgraced ex-governor. Stern always makes fun of the ass-kissing interview styles of Larry King and Jay Leno, but he pulled the same crap with Blagojevich. That's when I was reminded that the media likes to make the rich even richer by giving air time to any asshole who's been pampered by their fame -- whether in sports, movies, music or television.

The point is this -- the mainstream media seems hell bent on pushing those who don’t need or deserve any pushing. It’s almost as if the media wants to promote bad behavior as the thing to aspire to. They are setting a bad example for our younger generations by rewarding irresponsibility and insubordination. This also includes politics where I’ve been seeing nothing but crazy people, pushing and shoving at town hall meetings and Tea Party protests while 99% of the protestors are respectable patriots.

It almost seems like the media is attempting to brainwash the masses into thinking most Americans are nuts on either side of the political line. Yet most of us are simply working hard and trying to take responsibility for our own lives, while also trying to strive for a better nation. It seems the media has forgotten that our freedom depends on the men and women who adhere to basic principals of sanity, as they raise our families, fight our wars and work in our factories.

I can't be sure why the media acts so irresponsibly, but I can hypothesize as I'm sure Walter Cronkite did in his last days. Maybe the mainstream media is intimidated by the popularity of online media and blogs, so they're pushing the envelope in an attempt to save themselves? Maybe the only way they can make money these days is by promoting outrageousness? Or maybe it's an attempt to make us forget there are many more important issues on the minds of Americans? Or maybe they just don’t care about middle America? Either way, the mainstream media should be ashamed of themselves for promoting the bad behavior of spoiled rich fame mongers. These people are the worst examples to feature for our children to worship.

Where are the stories about ordinary people making a difference? Whether it’s young entrepreneurs, maverick politicians or the millions of volunteers out there making a real difference, it’s time the media gets back in gear and starts promoting good behavior as something to live up to, while we try to reclaim the American dream. If the mainstream media really wants to help repair the damage done to America over the past decade, they’ll stop the misinformation and revert back to a time when reporting the truth really meant something. Just food for thought.....
